Position: Site Engineer (Civil) – Real Estate & Infrastructure Projects

Location: Coimbatore / Project Sites (as per assignment)

Reporting To: GM/ Parallel to VL

Experience: 2–3 years in site engineering, with experience in real estate or infrastructure projects

Role Overview

Aeonn is hiring a Site Engineer (Civil) to lead the execution and coordination of civil works across infrastructure developments, villa layouts, building renovations, land identification, and internal facilities. This is a key on-site role that combines technical execution, stakeholder coordination, legal compliance, and land support responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and fluent in Tamil, capable of managing vendors, contractors, and local authorities while ensuring projects meet quality, timeline, and regulatory standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Civil Works

• Supervise and execute site-level civil works including roads, drainage, villas, and layout infrastructure.
• Implement works as per GFC drawings, BOQs, and approved construction plans.
• Conduct level marking, material quality checks, and daily site monitoring.
• Track procurement, labour, contractor deployment, work measurements, and billing verification.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly site reports highlighting progress, risks, and deviations.

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with:
• Contractors and external civil engineers for execution updates, quality checks, and approvals.
• Promoters and vendors for delivery timelines, issue resolution, and material support.
• Registration offices and local authorities for land documentation, compliance, and approvals.
• Ensure seamless task completion by coordinating end-to-end between all stakeholders with clear timelines and accountability.

Land Identification & Support

• Identify and evaluate potential agricultural or DTCP-approved land parcels for future real estate development.
• Conduct civil feasibility checks: road access, drainage, terrain, utility potential, etc.
• Support promoter negotiations, legal liaison, and documentation by coordinating with internal and external teams.

Compliance, Risk & Regulation

• Perform risk assessments before construction or renovation begins — considering site safety, surroundings, and logistics.
• Ensure strict adherence to Indian Seismic Code (IS 1893) and local building bylaws for all new construction.
• Ensure all site activities comply with DTCP norms, statutory regulations, and real estate approval requirements.
• Maintain site safety, testing records, and regulatory documentation.

Existing Building Oversight

• Manage repair, renovation, and civil improvement works at existing Aeonn office and operational facilities.
• Coordinate works with internal departments, vendors, and external service providers to ensure minimal disruption.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical knowledge in RCC, roadwork, drainage, layout infrastructure, finishing, and utilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (drawing interpretation), MS Excel, and civil documentation.
• Strong ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, engineers, and local officials.
• Independent execution mindset with problem-solving ability and daily task tracking.
• Mandatory proficiency in Tamil (read, write, and speak) for local coordination and documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 2–3 years in site engineering, with exposure to real estate or infrastructure projects
• Language: Tamil proficiency required – reading, writing, and speaking
