Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer Location: Target Publications Department: Creative Reports To: Senior Graphic Designer / Design Lead
Job Overview: We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you'll support the design team in creating visually compelling graphics for a variety of media, including digital and print. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic design principles, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for producing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities: ●      Collaborate with senior designers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives. ●      Prepare and edit graphics, layouts, and designs based on feedback from stakeholders. ●      Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and project specifications. ●      Develop and refine design concepts: Create initial design drafts and work through iterations to meet project goals and client expectations. ●      Create and maintain design templates: Develop reusable templates for recurring design needs to streamline workflow and ensure consistency. Assist in the creation of design assets for marketing materials, social media, websites, print, design adaptations, brochures, catalog, booklets, social media post, website banner etc. ●      Assist in brand development: Help in creating and updating branding materials, including logos, business cards, and promotional items. ●      Prepare final artwork: Ensure that designs are correctly formatted for various output formats, including print, web, and social media, and meet production standards. ●      Handle design revisions: Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback from clients, team members, or other stakeholders. ●      Organize and manage design files: Maintain an organized system for storing and archiving design files, ensuring easy access and retrieval. ●      Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve your skills and contribute innovative ideas. ●      Can work on multiple design projects simultaneously. ●      Print production knowledge will be an add-on.
    Requirements: ●      Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Diploma, relavant Courses etc. or a related field (or strong design experience). ● years of experience in graphic design, either through internships, freelance work, or prior employment. ●      Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software. ●      Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. ●      Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work in short time. ●      Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members. ●      A portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and skills.
