Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Integration Engineer
with strong expertise in API integrations, event-driven architecture, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with
Kafka, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Terraform, and microservices
, along with strong scripting and integration design capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain API integrations across distributed systems.
  • Architect and build event-driven workflows leveraging Kafka and other streaming platforms.
  • Work extensively on AWS cloud services, ensuring scalable and secure deployments.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Design integration flows using industry-standard Integration Patterns & Best Practices.
  • Manage and configure API Management platforms, preferably Kong.
  • Develop backend services using NodeJS (Fastify preferred) within a microservices architecture.
  • Write robust scripts using Bash and Terraform for automation and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Ensure code quality through TDD, Git workflows, and continuous integration practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration requirements across projects.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in API Integration.
  • Expertise in Kafka (streams, topics, consumers, producers).
  • Deep knowledge and experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub/Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of Integration Design Patterns.
  • Experience with API Managers, preferably Kong.
  • Strong backend development skills in NodeJS (Fastify preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Microservices, TDD, and Git-based workflows.
  • Scripting skills in Bash and Terraform.

Good To Have Skills

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS / GCP).
  • Working knowledge of message queues like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Pub/Sub.
  • Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
  • Understanding of security best practices in API/cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes deployments and cluster operations.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, routing, load balancing).
