About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Junior Sales Engineer to join the Chennai team. The role focuses on promoting and selling coating, dispensing, and surface preparation equipment to engineering companies, contractors, and automotive clients. This position is ideal for candidates with a technical background, strong communication skills, and an eagerness to learn industrial sales and service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and develop business with engineering, fabrication, and automotive customers.
  • Promote a range of coating, dispensing, and surface treatment equipment.
  • Conduct regular client visits to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations, installations, and service support with the technical team.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up with clients, and assist in order closures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, visits, and follow-ups.
  • Build and sustain long-term customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Pune Head Office and local dealers for order processing and support.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and equipment advancements.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in industrial product sales or service (preferred).
  • Knowledge of coating, painting, or dispensing systems (advantageous).
  • Basic mechanical or fluid equipment servicing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Customer-focused, self-driven, and willing to travel within the region.
