Wedding Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and versatile Wedding Video Editor with expertise in traditional and candid wedding video editing, as well as proficiency in Adobe After Effects for brand animation. This unique role combines editing emotionally compelling wedding videos with creating stunning brand animations and visual effects. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative eye, technical video editing skills, and a passion for animating brand identities through motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities:

Wedding Video Editing:

Traditional Wedding Video Editing: Edit and assemble the main wedding video, focusing on key moments such as the ceremony, speeches, first dance, and other significant events, ensuring the video captures the essence of the day.

Candid Video Editing: Edit spontaneous, candid moments, such as guest interactions, emotional moments, and natural reactions between the couple, creating a compelling and heartwarming video.

Audio & Video Syncing: Ensure proper syncing of audio and video to create a seamless viewing experience, with the addition of background music and sound effects where necessary.

Creative Storytelling: Work closely with clients to ensure the final video represents their vision, capturing emotional moments and telling the story of the day in a beautiful, engaging way.

Animation with After Effects:

Motion Graphics Creation: Use Adobe After Effects to create visually captivating animations for brand identities, including animated logos, typography, product animations, and promotional videos.

Visual Effects & Compositing: Apply advanced visual effects, transitions, and compositing to create a high-quality, dynamic look for brands. Incorporate 3D animation and special effects that enhance branding efforts.

Brand Storytelling: Develop creative animated elements that align with the brand's identity, ensuring consistency across various marketing materials such as commercials, social media, and digital ads.

Project Execution: Handle the full animation process from concept creation to final delivery, including storyboarding, asset creation, animation, and final rendering.

Collaboration and Client Communication:

Client Interaction: Collaborate directly with clients to understand their brand's goals and style, tailoring animations and video edits to meet those needs.

Team Collaboration: Work with the marketing and creative teams to ensure the brand animations align with overall campaign objectives and messaging.

Technical Expertise:

Video Editing Software: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve for wedding video editing. Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects for creating motion graphics and visual effects.

Post-Production Workflow: Manage all stages of post-production, ensuring smooth workflow from video editing to animation and final delivery of the project.

Creativity & Innovation:

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in both wedding video editing and brand animation, continuously incorporating new techniques and fresh ideas into your work.

Use innovative animation and editing techniques to create visually stunning and emotionally engaging content for both weddings and brands.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in editing wedding videos, with a portfolio showcasing both traditional and candid wedding video edits.

Expertise in Adobe After Effects, including motion graphics, keyframing, compositing, and advanced animation techniques.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
