Employment Details:

• Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all moulding operations, including DISA high-pressure and no-bake moulding lines.
• Ensure mould boxes (DISA: 1300 × 1000 × 350 mm; no-bake line capacity ~15 tons/hr) are filled, set, and maintained accurately.
• Manage shell core production using the core shooter and PLC‑controlled mixer.
• Enforce safety and environmental protocols, especially around mixing, sand handling, and machinery operation.
• Conduct regular quality checks of moulds to ensure they meet specifications for weight, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy.
• Lead a team of moulding technicians and helpers; facilitate training in equipment operations, safety practices, and foundry procedures.
• Coordinate with melting, pouring, fettling, and heat-treatment teams for seamless production flow.
• Troubleshoot and liaise with maintenance for timely repairs; oversee changeovers, schedule adjustments, and startup/shutdown processes.
• Monitor consumables—such as sand, binders, and core materials—and support sand recycling systems to optimize usage
• Communicate daily with production management about output, issues, improvements, and safety observations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable field preferred.
• Ideally 1–5 years' experience in moulding operations within a foundry (experience with DISA or no-bake systems is a plus).
• Strong understanding of moulding processes, pattern handling, core making, and sand preparation methods.
• Proven leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in problem-solving, quality control, and production coordination.
• Comfortable working in a high-temperature, industrial environment; ready for rotational shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
