Symbiosis Open Education Society Pune (Chaturshrungi Road, Model Colony, Shivajinagar, Pune) is looking for suitable candidates for the position of Assistant Professor. Job Description:Should be able to develop engaging and effective online courses, including course syllabi, learning materials, and assessments, question banks, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes and institutional standards.
Would deliver online lectures, discussions, and other interactive activities, facilitating student engagement and learning. Must be able to provide academic guidance, answer student questions, offer feedback on assignments, and mentor students on their academic and professional development. To evaluate student performance through various methods, including online assessments, assignments, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Should be able to participate in departmental and university activities, contribute to curriculum development, and mentor junior faculty. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), online communication tools, and other relevant technologies for distance learning. To communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators, both online and in person.
Must be Program coordinators, one point of contact with visiting faculties, VC Booking, Billing. Experience in handling Departmental Audit. Essential Qualifications:An MBA (Marketing preferably) degree preferably with PhD or equivalent in the relevant field.
Strong teaching and communication skills, with experience in designing and delivering online courses. Proficiency in using learning management systems and other online learning technologies. Experience in research and publishing scholarly articles.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
