Our client, a global financial institution, is looking to hire a Vice President Treasury COO professional to join their Treasury Operations team in Bangalore / Chennai. This role will play a key part in shaping the Treasury of the Future by enhancing operational resilience, optimizing costs, and building strong institutional capabilities across people, processes, and technology.

Key Responsibilities- Drive cost management excellence by implementing strategies to optimize spending and streamline operations.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to lead strategic workforce planning, building a lean, resilient Treasury team.
- Implement peoples upskilling strategies and support organizational design around skills and agility.
- Lead process automation initiatives (e.g., Python, data tools) to eliminate manual effort and reduce risk.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks while preparing for audits and reviews.
- Foster a Treasury culture that emphasizes data, diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.
- Required 812 years experience in Financial Services (Treasury, COO functions, HR strategy, or process re-engineering).
- A strong background in Treasury, COO, or Financial Services operations, with a focus on people, processes, and cost management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of Treasury / ALM / Balance Sheet management preferred.
- A track record of driving process improvement, risk reduction, and efficiency gains in complex environments.
- Passion for fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, learning, and wellbeing.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
