Executive Sales Representative

Position Overview:
As an Executive Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is
to actively call potential clients, build strong relationships, and drive sales closures
. You will guide clients through the technical aspects of setting up plant solutions, but your focus is on
proactive outreach, persistent follow-ups, and converting inquiries into confirmed plant visits and sales
.
This is a
target-driven sales role
that requires initiative, relationship-building, and a strong ability to influence decision-making at every stage of the client journey. Your objective is to build trust, provide valuable insights, and nurture prospects through the sales cycle, with a focus on setting up plant visits at our demo facility in Ajmer.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Outreach and Calling
- Actively call potential leads assigned through CRM, marketing campaigns, and inbound inquiries.
- Initiate first contact, follow up consistently, and guide clients from initial interest to booking plant visits and sales closure.
- Maintain a minimum daily and weekly call and meeting target, with clear tracking on CRM.
Client Profiling
- Understand the client's current business, challenges, and goals, especially in the agri-processing industry.
- Evaluate infrastructure readiness (land, building, or shed availability) and timelines.
Client Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, creating a consultative and educational sales approach.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients after initial inquiry (L0), providing in-depth consultations.
Plant Consultation
- Conduct detailed discussions about plant requirements, including capacity, materials to be processed, and the ideal setup for their needs.
- Provide clarity on the different sections of the plant, such as cleaning, conditioning, and milling, and how these impact the final product.
Budget & Investment Planning
- Understand and discuss the client's estimated budget, providing guidance on which plant setup is most suitable for their budget.
- Present relevant options and provide initial quotations for their plant setup.
Plant Visit Promotion
- Encourage potential clients to visit the demo plant at Ajmer for a first-hand experience.
- Explain the benefits of the plant visit, highlighting the value of seeing the plant in action and meeting with senior experts.
Collaterals Sharing
- Share brochures, videos, and quotations that match the client's requirements.
- Customise the information based on the client's specific needs and goals.
Consultation Scheduling & Follow-Ups
- Schedule calls and meetings to continue discussions and further educate clients.
- Follow up with clients who may need more time or information before making a decision.
CRM Data Entry & Documentation
- Log all client interactions, updates, and information in the Odoo CRM system.
- Ensure proper tagging and detailed notes to allow seamless transitions to other sales team members if necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience
: Minimum of 2 years in a sales or technical consultation role, ideally in the manufacturing, agri-processing, or industrial sectors. - Communication
: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and in an easy-to-understand manner. - Customer Focus
: Ability to build rapport, establish trust, and nurture relationships with clients. - Problem Solving
: Analytical thinking with a problem-solving attitude to understand client needs and offer suitable solutions. - Technology Skills
: Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Odoo) and basic office software (Word, Excel, etc.). - Educational Qualification
: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field. - Language
: Fluent in English and Hindi. Additional regional languages are a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel
: Travel to client locations and the Ajmer demo plant when necessary. - Client Visit Assistance
: Assist clients in planning and preparing for their visits to the Ajmer plant.
Working Environment:
- Office-based with periodic travel to meet clients and facilitate plant visits.
