Role Overview
We are recruiting an Infrastructure Technical Consultant with 3–5 years of experience to join our Infrastructure Team. The role requires strong skills in Unix/Linux and Windows administration, along with mandatory customer communication experience. The need to manage infrastructure, resolve issues, and support cloud and on-premises environments. This role is based remotely in India on a full-time basis. - Manage and support customer infrastructure, including upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Perform system administration on Unix/Linux and Windows servers.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
- Support cloud and hybrid deployments (AWS preferred).
- Provide clear and timely communication to customers regarding incidents and resolutions.
- Work with internal teams and customers to establish and follow best practices.
Qualifications, skills and experience required
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure administration or IT support.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and basic networking.
- Proven experience in customer communication and interaction.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Prior experience in a technical consulting or support role.
- Working knowledge Amazon AWS, RedHat Linux technologies
- Previous WMS experience is not essential but highly recommended.
