Job Description – Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team full-time in Ahmedabad, India. This role is designed for someone with mid-level experience and the ambition to grow into a senior leader. You will take ownership of our existing logistics platform (built on Laravel and AWS), simplify it for employees, clients, and service providers, and create solutions that streamline day-to-day operations.

You will also have the freedom to build a small and efficient team around you, select the right tools and partnerships, and shape the technology backbone of ARK.

Responsibilities

  • Audit, improve, and simplify the existing logistics platform.
  • Collaborate with operations team to identify bottlenecks and translate them into simple digital solutions.
  • Design and implement user-friendly workflows for employees, clients, and service providers.
  • Manage end-to-end development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Work across the following stack:
  • Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Laravel Blade, Bootstrap,
  • Backend: Laravel 10 (PHP 8.1), REST APIs, Redis Queues
  • Database: MariaDB, Eloquent ORM, Redis Cache
  • Infrastructure: AWS (LightSail, S3, CloudFront, ELB), Apache
  • Monitoring & DevOps: Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket), Sentry, AWS CloudWatch
  • Explore and establish technology partnerships to enhance ground-level operations (e.g., GPS tracking, payments, integrations).
  • Mentor junior developers or build a small in-house tech team.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
  • Strong expertise in PHP (Laravel) and familiarity with MariaDB/MySQL.
  • Frontend experience with JavaScript, Bootstrap, Blade templates.
  • Experience with AWS (hosting, storage, monitoring).
  • Understanding of security practices (encryption, CSRF, secure cookies).
  • Problem-solver with the ability to translate operational issues into technical solutions.
  • Team player, adaptable, and eager to grow into a leadership role.
  • Prior exposure to logistics, supply chain, or marketplace platforms is a big plus.
