Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Compliance & In-House Counsel Functions

  • Ensure CaseMine' s products and services comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements — from vendor contracts to partnership arrangements.
  • Oversee and track ongoing litigation; coordinate with external counsel and represent Casemine in legal matters.
  • Serve as the 
    primary liaison
     for external legal bodies, law firms, regulators, and partner institutions.
  • Collaborate with 
    product, engineering, and operations teams
     to integrate compliance seamlessly into company processes.
  • Evaluate the implications of 
    international laws
     on company operations and recommend best practices.

2. Client Engagement & Product Support

  • Interact with clients to understand their legal and compliance needs.
  • Conduct 
    product demonstrations
    , highlighting CaseMine' s features and legal advantages.
  • Provide timely support and expert guidance to clients on legal aspects of product usage and compliance queries.

3. Product Testing & Development

  • Participate in the 
    testing and review
     of new Casemine features to identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Offer strategic legal inputs during product design and rollout to ensure compliance from day one.

4. Legal Research & Knowledge Building

  • Stay ahead of emerging legal and regulatory trends, especially in legal technology.
  • Conduct 
    deep-dive legal research
     to support product innovation and company strategy.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-building initiatives and help develop CaseMine' s legal frameworks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • LL.B. / LL.M. from a reputed institution.
  • 2–4 years of experience in 
    in-house legal
    , 
    compliance
    , or 
    technology-focused roles
    .
  • Strong grasp of 
    corporate, contract, and regulatory law
    ; exposure to foreign jurisdictions is a plus.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and research abilities.
  • Confident communicator, capable of engaging with clients and internal teams alike.
  • Tech-curious — passionate about exploring the evolving world of 
    legal AI and product innovation
    .
