About the Role

We're looking for a motivated SEO Intern to learn by doing and help us grow organic visibility across search. You'll work closely with our marketing team on real projects: keyword research, on-page optimization, content briefs, technical audits, and performance reporting.

Note: This is an unpaid, educational internship designed for skill-building. Academic credit and recommendation letters available.

What You'll Do

  • Perform keyword research, topic clustering, and search intent mapping
  • Draft on-page SEO recommendations (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links)
  • Build content briefs using SEO tools and SERP analysis
  • Assist with technical SEO checks (crawlability, indexation, page speed, Core Web Vitals)
  • Optimize existing content for CTR and rankings (titles, snippets, schema basics)
  • Help with local SEO tasks (if applicable): GBP optimization
  • Track and report results: impressions, clicks, rankings, CTR, conversions
  • Competitor and SERP feature analysis (People Also Ask, featured snippets, etc.)

Ideal Profile

  • Curious, analytical, and comfortable with spreadsheets
  • Clear written communication and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of SEO concepts
  • Familiarity with CMS basics (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
  • Comfort learning tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and keyword tools

Tools You'll Use

Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Sheets/Excel, keyword research tools, a site crawler, and on-page optimization checklists.

KPIs You'll Track

  • Clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position
  • Indexed pages and crawl errors resolved
  • Content published/updated and internal links added
  • Featured snippets/PAAs captured (where relevant)
