electrician cum supervisor

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Electrician cum Supervisor to handle all electrical maintenance work and supervise the housekeeping department. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of electrical systems and maintaining overall cleanliness and orderliness of the school campus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Electrical Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including lights, fans, air conditioners, switchboards, wiring, etc.
• Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical panels and school infrastructure.
• Monitor generator, UPS, and inverter operations.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns or emergencies promptly.
• Maintain records of materials, usage, and repair schedules.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Support setup of electrical arrangements during school events and programs.

Supervisory & Housekeeping Duties:

• Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure cleanliness of classrooms, washrooms, corridors, and school premises.
• Monitor daily cleaning schedules and ensure proper use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors for housekeeping supplies and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks by maintenance and housekeeping teams.
• Report daily updates to the Administrative Officer or Principal.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or relevant field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance and team supervision.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations and staff management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Must be punctual, responsible, and willing to work extra hours during events or emergencies.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 6 days a week (as per school timings)
• Flexibility required during school events or urgent maintenance work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
