As Masin expands its AI-driven product offerings, we are looking for a skilled and motivated
Backend Engineer
to join our growing tech team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our core platforms. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including AI integrations, and help shape the future of our SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities


• Build and maintain scalable, modular backend systems using Python (FastAPI, Django) or


• Develop REST and GraphQL APIs with robust authentication (OAuth, JWT) and role-based access control.
• Design and implement clean architecture using MVC, microservices, and event-driven principles.


• Build full-stack features using , , and TypeScript (if full-stack).


• Ensure low-latency, high-performance systems through caching, async workflows, and optimized queries.
• Integrate with external services including LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini), vector databases, and RAG pipelines.


• Manage infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).


• Collaborate closely with ML engineers, frontend teams, and product managers for end to end delivery.


• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain reliability in production.


• Follow secure coding practices and ensure API and data protection compliance.


• Write testable, well-documented code with unit, integration, and API test coverage.

Key Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.


•
4+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development.


• Strong proficiency in Python or for backend development.


• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and ORM tools (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Prisma).


• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.


• Proficient with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).


• Understanding of system design, scalability, API lifecycle, and performance tuning.


• Good grasp of software engineering principles, clean code, version control, and design patterns.

Key Attributes


• Experience with LLM integration (OpenAI, Gemini) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.


• Knowledge of vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).


• Exposure to background job queues (Celery, RQ) and asynchronous task handling.
