Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive AI/ML Engineer with strong expertise in Generative AI and Python to join our team. You will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and optimization of scalable AI/ML solutions in a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end machine learning pipelines, cloud platforms like Azure, and a passion for engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, production-grade AI/ML use cases, including Generative AI solutions.
- Develop and maintain high-quality backend code in Python.
- Collaborate with data scientists to optimize ML models for high performance (throughput and latency).
- Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and performance benchmarks within the team.
- Build tools and automation to improve system availability, scalability, monitoring, and reliability.
- Integrate ML model training and inference workflows into end-to-end data pipelines.
- Work closely with AI platform teams to ensure successful integration of ML models and services.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on Python programming experience, with ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
- Practical experience with Generative AI frameworks and tools (e.g., LLMs, transformers, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning concepts and lifecycle.
- Experience working with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, and SQL databases.
- Basic understanding of PySpark for data processing tasks.
- Familiarity with source code management tools like Git.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and adapt quickly to new technologies.
