Steward

Location: Pema Wellness Retreat, Visakhapatnam

Position Summary:

As a Steward at Pema Wellness Retreat, you will play an important role in ensuring smooth operations of the dining and kitchen areas. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization, while supporting the culinary and service teams to deliver exceptional wellness dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, dining, and service areas.
• Handle dishwashing, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment with care.
• Assist chefs and service staff with mise-en-place, food setup, and clearance.
• Ensure proper garbage disposal, segregation, and cleanliness of stewarding areas.
• Safely operate and maintain dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment.
• Monitor stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisors.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols as per FSSAI and organizational standards.
• Support banquet and restaurant operations during peak service hours.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and handling kitchen supplies as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience as a steward in hospitality/wellness/health retreat preferred (freshers may also apply).
• Knowledge of basic hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a team and support other departments as needed.
• Physical stamina to handle fast-paced environments.
• Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹20,000.00 per month
