We are looking for a Procurement Manager to reinforce our team in India.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Procurement Manager you will work within Operations team for the purchase of commercial parts, mechanical parts machined and/or fabricated, loose components or sub-assembled groups. You will be responsible for the procurement process starting from the suppliers' selection, qualification in link with QAQC and Expediting team, procurement strategies definition, purchase order issuance and contracting signature at competitive price withing the assigned budget and in line with proper cost analysis, post PO follow up and on time delivery guarantee. You'll be responsible for the management and resolution of disputes and/or any non-conformities which may arise during the supply of the goods, coordinating a dedicated team to achieve assigned target.
Main Task:
Scouting and benchmark of suppliers;
Preparing and sharing RFQ with technical documentation;
Evaluate the offerts in terms of cost, quality and lead time and align the same, prior negotiation, from the techno/commercial point of view;
Negotiate the best conditions and issue / sign purchase contract;
Monitoring and Ensuring the suppliers' performances during the execution phase;
Technical school diploma or master's degree in Engineering;
Knowledge of both written and spoken English
At least 3/5 years' experience procurement/supply chain management within steel related manufacturing companies (steel making or plant making companies);
Availability to business trip world - wide about 20-30% of time
Communication and interaction skills;
Problem Solving;
Teamworking and organizational skills.
Procurement team is involved in the entire project management process at Danieli: from preliminary designs to supplier execution and quality management, to ensure the company's profit and its leadership position in the market.
