Job description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Tally, GST, Income Tax, and TDS regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage and oversee the daily accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Handle GST, Income Tax, and TDS filings and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis and present findings to management.
  • Oversee payroll and manage employee expense reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software.
  • In-depth knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and TDS regulations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Experience in the electronics industry.
