Job Title: Incoming Quality Engineer

Location: Talawade, Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: 5 – 7 Years

Qualification: BE/B Tech/Diploma – Electrical / Electronics Engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Incoming Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and ensuring the quality of incoming materials, electrical/electronic components, and sub-assemblies from suppliers. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical components, quality standards, and vendor quality management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and verify incoming materials, electrical and electronic components, and mechanical parts as per quality standards.
  • Review supplier quality documentation, material test reports, and compliance certificates.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain incoming inspection procedures and sampling plans.
  • Handle non-conformance reports (NCR), initiate corrective actions, and coordinate with suppliers for resolution.
  • Maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation for audits.
  • Collaborate with purchase, design, and production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits and ensure adherence to ISO and industry quality standards.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing instruments.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic components and testing methods.
  • Hands-on experience with measuring instruments like Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, etc.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of statistical quality tools (SPC, MSA, 7 QC tools, etc.) will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹45,000.00 per month
