Responsibilities

1.    Implementation and audit on electrical safety.
2.    Develop Electrical Safety processes for all running project sites and ensure its implementation.
3.    Regular audits at project sites to check the uniform implementation of safety systems.
4.    Develop and train on pre-commissioning processes.
5.    Ensure the emergency isolation facilities in all new plants.
6.    Publishing and training guidelines on scaffolding.
7.    Regular engagement with contractors on WAH, scaffolding, and critical lifts.
8.    Review of method statements of all critical lifts.
9.    Regular visit the project sites to improve the Working at height standard by discussing with the contractor and site team to ensure safety and job progress.
10.    Auditing project sites to capture the gaps and strategies to improve on it.
11.    Support the development of OHS policies and programs.
12.    Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.).
13.    Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
14.    Participates in workers trade test and maintain record for gate pass.
15.    Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
16.    Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives.
17.    Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).
18.    Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
19.    Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
20.    Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker's compensation claims.
21.    Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
