Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and experienced GEO Manager to lead and execute our Answer Engine Optimization strategy across emerging AI search platforms like Google SGE, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Bing AI. The ideal candidate will manage a team, ensure timely delivery of tasks, resolve operational challenges, and drive overall AEO performance to improve brand visibility in AI-generated answers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Answer Engine Optimization (GEO/AEO) Strategy:

  • Develop and implement GEO strategies for AI-powered search environments.
  • Optimize content for conversational queries, long-form answers, and SGE visibility.
  • Ensure strong structured data implementation across all web properties.

2. Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, train, and guide a team of SEO/GEO specialists.
  • Assign tasks clearly and ensure all deliverables are completed within deadlines.
  • Conduct weekly performance reviews and mentor team members for continuous improvement.

3. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:

  • Quickly identify campaign challenges, technical issues, or content gaps.
  • Provide clear, actionable solutions to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (content, design, development) to remove blockers.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to risk management and workflow optimization.

4. Content Strategy & Optimization:

  • Collaborate with the content team to create AEO-friendly articles, FAQs, and answer-based content.
  • Ensure E-E-A-T and content quality standards are maintained.
  • Optimize content structure to improve performance in AI-driven answers.

5. Technical Optimization:

  • Oversee implementation of schema (FAQ, How-To, Product, LocalBusiness, etc.).
  • Ensure website health: crawlability, indexation, site speed, and mobile optimization.
  • Work with developers to resolve technical issues on time.

6. Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor brand presence in SGE snapshots, AI Overviews, ChatGPT answers, and other platforms.
  • Track KPIs: traffic, impressions, rankings, answer-capture rate, and AI answer visibility.
  • Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to leadership.

7. Competitor & Trend Analysis:

  • Analyze competitors' presence in AI-driven search results.
  • Stay updated with the latest GEO/AEO trends, algorithm updates, and AI search patterns.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of experience in SEO/GEO/AEO with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in structured data, semantic SEO, AI search behavior, and SGE optimization.
  • Strong leadership abilities: task allocation, time management, and workflow planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make fast and effective decisions.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and AI tools.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and team management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Bing AI optimization.
  • Knowledge of NLP, vector search, and AI-driven content creation.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and ensure timely execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹90,000.00 per month
