Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with 6+ years of experience in managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and optimizing cloud costs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our cloud operations, disaster recovery planning, and architecture initiatives, while collaborating closely with our network, platform, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, configure, and manage cloud subscriptions and associated cloud resources (across AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform for automated provisioning and consistent environment management.
  • Implement GitOps workflows using Argo Workflows and Argo Events for deployment automation and CI/CD operations.
  • Collaborate with Network and Platform teams to support deployment pipelines, system integration, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, providing inputs on scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency of cloud-native solutions.
  • Conduct cloud cost analysis, identifying opportunities for optimization and implementing cost-control strategies.
  • Support Disaster Recovery planning, backup strategies, and failover testing to ensure high availability and business continuity.
  • Monitor system health using Grafana, Prometheus, and Uptime-Kuma, and manage logs using Grafana Loki and Alloy.
  • Use Jira for task management, collaboration, and issue tracking in an agile delivery environment.

Required Skills & Tools:

  • IaC & Automation: Terraform, Argo Workflows, Argo Events
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
  • Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, Uptime-Kuma
  • Logging: Grafana Loki, Alloy
  • Project Management: Jira
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python) are a plus
  • Good understanding of network and security concepts in cloud environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Terraform Associate) are a plus.
