We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to oversee and manage all tax-related activities, including GST, TDS, corporate income tax, and other statutory compliances. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Indian taxation laws (and UAE corporate tax, if applicable), as well as hands-on experience in managing tax filings, reconciliations, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and file GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns accurately and within deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations .
  • Handle corporate tax computations, assessments, and audits.
  • Review books of accounts to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions.
  • Conduct tax reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and compliance requirements, advising management accordingly.
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities on tax-related matters.
  • Support financial closing activities related to tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
  • Prepare tax reports and assist in strategic tax planning to optimize liabilities.
  • Train and guide junior accountants on taxation processes and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in taxation and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and basic understanding of UAE corporate tax (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and tax filing portals.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification such as CA (Inter), CMA, or CPA is an added advantage.
  • Experience in working with outsourcing firms or multi-country tax environments.
