Position: Senior Zoho Developer / Team Lead

Department: IT & Systems

Location: Nariman Point

Reports To: Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Zoho Developer / Team Lead to take ownership of end-to-end Zoho development projects (95% KRA) while providing minimal support in IT infrastructure and systems management (5% KRA). The role requires hands-on expertise in Zoho Creator, CRM, Books, Flow, and custom development using Deluge scripting and APIs, along with the ability to lead a small development team, manage SDLC, and ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

**Key Responsibilities

A. Software Development & Zoho Ecosystem (95% KRA)**

* Lead design, development, and deployment of custom applications on Zoho Creator and other Zoho apps.

* Customize, automate, and integrate Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Flow, and other apps with internal workflows.

* Drive requirement gathering, solution design, and architecture discussions with stakeholders.

* Implement and enforce SDLC best practices, version control, and code documentation.

* Mentor and guide a team of junior developers; review code and ensure quality standards.

* Build and maintain API integrations with third-party systems.

* Conduct application testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

* Ensure data security, compliance, and role-based access controls across Zoho apps.

* Continuously explore and leverage new Zoho features, AI tools, and automation to improve business efficiency.

* Conduct end-user training and support adoption of new solutions.

B. IT Infrastructure & Support (5% KRA)

* Provide basic oversight of IT assets and networking (laptops, desktops, peripherals, Wi-Fi, VPN).

* Ensure system backups, access controls, and security protocols are functional.

* Coordinate with IT vendors for renewals, warranties, and technical support.

* Document key IT processes and provide user support for minor IT issues.

Key Skills & Competencies

* Expert-level knowledge of Zoho Creator, CRM, Books, Flow, and other Zoho One applications.

* Strong command over Deluge scripting, APIs, and third-party integrations.

* Proven ability to lead software development projects and teams.

* Experience in workflow automation, business process mapping, and solution design.

* Familiarity with Git, SDLC, and agile methodologies.

* Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

* Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

* 3-5 years of experience in Zoho development, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.

* Demonstrated experience in application development, integrations, and process automation.

* Zoho Creator Certified Developer (preferred); other relevant IT certifications a plus.
