Major Accountability:

  • Reporting & Data Infrastructure : Data Collection & Management: Design, implement, and enhance robust processes for calculating, collecting, validating, analysing, and reporting Procurement ESG data (Environmental & Social), prioritising higher-quality data sources (data hierarchy).

  • Key Data Points Management: Establish and manage the infrastructure for critical data points including:

  • Carbon emission data points (Scope 3 categories 1, 2, and 4).

  • Performance KPIs overview for vendors.
  • Vendors life cycle management (LCM) data.
  • Commercial relationship overview at vendor level.
  • Forecast volume data.
  • Supplier segmentation and tiering data.
  • Productivity data.
  • Cash flow data.
  • Operations data (contracts, sourcing, etc.).
  • Supplier Master Data

  • Reporting Platform Development:

  • Build and manage ESG reports, scorecards, and dashboards using BI tools.

  • Develop and maintain Supplier Engagement Dashboards to visualize ESG performance and support decision-making.
  • Create ESG Data Analysis Reports for all categories and subcategories, with a focus on Scope 3 emissions.
  • Ensure robust back-end connectivity to MDGs and SLP systems.

  • Data Quality & Governance:

  • Improve Scope 3 data quality by converting spend data into Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) metrics.

  • Establish governance processes for ESG data accuracy, timeliness, and integrity.
  • Transition to Activity-Based Reporting: Utilize supplier data and justify emission factor choices to support the transition from spend-based to activity-based calculations and meet regulatory reporting needs.

  • Analytical Dashboard Development :

  • Maintain Qlik Sense dashboards for deep analytical insights.

  • Build Renewable Energy and PIA Dashboards to simplify ESG team decisions and track sustainability progress.

  • Category Collaboration :

  • Work closely with Category Managers to reduce emissions by walking through dashboard insights and explaining how Strategic Scores are calculated for suppliers.

  • Advanced Analytics & Modelling :

  • Integrate PCF data via materials analysis and Sandoz STEP project.

  • Expand ESG analytics beyond carbon (e.g., water, waste).
  • Provide analytical support for ESG target setting and benchmarking.

  • Operations Management of ESG Dashboards :

  • Oversee dashboard handover to IT for central maintenance.

  • Conduct periodic gap analyses with ESG stakeholders.
  • Support migration from Qlik Sense to Power BI.
