Computational Linguist – Subject Matter Expert

Key Responsibilities:

Review and resolve complex, ambiguous, or edge cases in annotated conversational data.

Identify annotation inconsistencies and refine annotation guidelines.

Provide linguistic expertise across semantics, syntax, discourse, and pragmatics.

Collaborate with annotation and ML/NLP teams to improve labeling quality and training data.

Support junior annotators and contribute to overall data curation.

Document and enforce high annotation standards across datasets.

Key Requirements:

Masters or PhD in Computational Linguistics, Linguistics, or a related field

2+ years of experience in NLP projects or linguistic data annotation

Strong grasp of linguistic structures, ambiguity resolution, and conversational context

Ability to write and refine annotation guidelines

Excellent communication and mentoring abilities

Linguistic Expertise in NLP or Annotation Review

Exp.- 2+ years (Mandatory)

Location- Remote (WFH),Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad
