Hello Everyone,

Optum is hiring Software Engineering Lead - .Net FSD with Angular at Bangalore.

Primary Skills: .Net, C#, Angular, MySQL/Oracle/MSSQL, Azure, API

Experience: 7+ yrs

Notice Period: Immediate to 60 days

Location: Bangalore

NOTE: Shift timings from 2:30 PM IST to 11:30 PM IST

Job Description:

  • Designs, codes, tests and debugs applications and components that meet all technical specifications and business requirements per assigned work items
  • Work closely with lead engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development
  • Collaborates closely with Business Analysts on developing requirements and assists with estimating
  • Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on budget and on-time.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet timelines with optimal solutions
  • Lead application build team for selected projects
  • Ability to take on a complex technical problem that is not well-defined, decompose into manageable tasks, provide proper estimates, and lead/coordinate other team members to collective deliver the end solution
  • Excellent organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Operational Excellence build, deploy, monitor, and operation of production services.
  • Work with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements
  • Uses technical knowledge and experience to resolve development and support issues
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected to accomplish goals
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work concurrently on multiple tasks
  • May lead and direct the work of others, including code reviews and mentoring other staff on industry best practices
  • Mentors junior software engineers

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of development and testing experience in C# / .Net
  • 5+ years of development experience on Microsoft SQL Server (preferred) or Oracle Database
  • 5+ years Database Design/Programming (Stored Procedures/Functions)
  • 5+ years of SDLC or DevOps/Agile experience
  • 5+ years with Angular
  • 5+ years working experience with API REST web services
  • 2+ years serving in a lead role or demonstrated experience leading junior engineers/small projects
  • Experience with version management tools and implementing CI/CD pipelines (Git, AzureDevOps, SVN, etc.)
  • Experience with Design Patterns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
