Maintenance Engineer

Employment type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Vadodara / Ahmadabad / Surat

Job summary:

We need a Diploma & BE (Mechanical or Electrical) engineer to join our maintenance team in the manufacturing plant. The role involves assisting with preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment, ensuring high machine availability and supporting continuous operations.

Key Responsibility:

  • Assist in scheduled preventive maintenance of mechanical/electrical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, PLCs).
  • Support breakdown repairs and root cause analysis under guidance.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, equipment history and ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
  • Liaise with production team to plan maintenance shutdowns and ensure minimal disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of maintenance area.

Mandatory skills:

  • Diploma & BE Mechanical or BE Electrical.
  • Basic knowledge of machine maintenance (mechanical & electrical), ability to troubleshoot.
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance concepts, basic PLC/electrical understanding helpful.
  • Good coordination with production and maintenance teams.
