Position Summary:‍

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of PMO to lead our global Project Management Office. This role is critical to driving cross-functional program success, ensuring delivery excellence, and enabling scalable operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong program management expertise, a proven ability to lead distributed teams, and a passion for building processes that support growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Oversight:
  • Lead and mentor a global team of project managers across multiple time zones.
  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for project execution, delivery quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for critical customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Program & Portfolio Management‍
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Drive consistency in project methodologies, tools, and reporting across teams.
  • Capacity Planning & Forecasting
  • Establish and maintain a robust process for resource capacity planning and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with delivery and sales teams to ensure accurate projections and staffing plans.
  • Monitor utilization and proactively identify gaps or risks in resource allocation.
  • Process Improvement & Governance
  • Define and implement PMO standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Continuously improve project delivery processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and customer requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement‍
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including Sales, Delivery, Product, and Executive Leadership to ensure program alignment.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and customers.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing global teams and complex delivery programs.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce, ERP, or enterprise software implementation projects.
  • Expertise in capacity planning, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms.
