Makeup trainer

Key Responsibilities:Training & Academics

• Deliver classroom and practical training in:
• Basic to Advanced Makeup
• Bridal, Party, Fashion & Editorial Makeup
• Skin preparation, hygiene & product knowledge
• Follow Lakmé Academy curriculum and teaching methodology.
• Demonstrate latest makeup trends, tools, and techniques.
• Conduct assessments, mock tests, and student evaluations.
• Maintain classroom discipline, hygiene, and training kits.

Student Upgrades & Retention

• Counsel students on course upgrades, advanced modules, and certifications based on their interest and performance.
• Identify potential students for skill enhancement and advanced makeup programs.
• Support the center team in achieving upgrade and retention targets.
• Coordinate with the Center Head and counselors for timely upgrade discussions.
• Ensure student satisfaction to reduce dropouts and improve completion rates.

Student Engagement & Support

• Mentor students on professional grooming, client handling, and career growth.
• Support students during workshops, demos, events, and photoshoots.
• Assist with placement support and portfolio development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Certification in Makeup Artistry (Lakmé Academy preferred)
• Minimum 2–4 years of professional makeup experience
• Prior experience as a Makeup Trainer / Faculty is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in Hindi & English
• Ability to motivate students and drive course upgrades
• Passion for teaching and mentoring
