Travel Sales Manager

Generate revenue by promoting and selling DMC's destination services — tours, events, accommodation, transport, and MICE programs — to travel agents, corporates, and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and target travel agencies, corporates, and event/wedding planners.
- Build partnerships with foreign tour operators for ground-handling services.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Prepare and pitch customized destination packages.
- Create proposals, quotations, and costings with profit margins.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong client relationships through communication and follow-ups.
- Attend trade fairs, networking events, and exhibitions.
- Coordinate with operations for seamless program execution.
4. Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Monitor competitor pricing and destination trends.
- Suggest new itineraries based on demand.
- Share insights with the product team.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with operations, reservations, and finance for smooth delivery.
- Negotiate best rates with hotels, transporters, and vendors.
Ideal Profile
- 3–8 years in travel trade or hospitality sales.
- Strong network with agents, corporates, and planners.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of local vendors and destinations.
- Passion for travel and cultural awareness.
