Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of structural design principles, construction practices, and building codes/regulations. This role involves performing structural analysis, preparing design documentation, coordinating with architects and contractors, and ensuring that all structural work meets safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural Design & Analysis:
  • Perform structural analysis and design of buildings and other structures using relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS Codes, ACI, BS, or Eurocodes as applicable).
  • Develop design calculations, models, and drawings for concrete, steel, and composite structures.
  • Ensure designs are efficient, safe, and cost-effective while meeting architectural and functional requirements.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors during all phases of design and construction.
  • Review structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical support during site execution, including resolving structural issues and conducting inspections.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Review and verify structural calculations, drawings, and reports prepared by peers or consultants.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for approvals and statutory submissions.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed structural drawings, BOQs, and design reports.
  • Maintain project documentation and track design revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and progress updates to project stakeholders.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Utilize design and analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or equivalent tools.
  • Develop 2D/3D structural models for design validation and coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized institution.
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering (M.E./M.Tech) is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in structural design and analysis of buildings (residential, commercial, or industrial).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations (e.g., IS 456, IS 800, IS 1893, IS 13920, NBC, etc.).
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and drafting tools like AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of load calculations, foundation design, and seismic/wind analysis.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
