Deputy Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day mine operations in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize mining activities and improve productivity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and timely project delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and address operational inefficiencies.
• Monitor and control operational costs while maintaining high quality standards.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term operational plans and goals.
• Implement technological advancements to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
• Ensure environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives are integrated into mining operations.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders on operational performance and key metrics.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Valid certification in Mine Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Coal Mining industry.
