OPD Assistant

Job Discription

We are looking for a female OPD Assistant to join our hospital. The ideal candidate should have either an ANM qualification or relevant experience working in a hospital or clinic. The OPD Assistant will be responsible for assisting with patient handling, registration, basic nursing support, and helping ensure smooth operations in the Outpatient Department (OPD).

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients during their visit to the OPD
• Help with patient registration and documentation
• Guide patients to doctors or scan rooms as required
• Take basic vitals (BP, temperature, etc.) if needed
• Support the doctor or nurse during consultations
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports
• Ensure proper queue management and patient flow
• Handle patient queries politely and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the OPD area
• Ensure confidentiality of patient data at all times

Requirements:

• Qualification: ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) or relevant healthcare experience
• Basic knowledge of patient care and OPD workflow
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with basic computer operations (data entry, MS Office)
• Experience in a hospital or clinic OPD preferred
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Female candidates only (due to patient handling requirements)
