The Role:
  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs through interviews, observations, and medical history reviews.
  • Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to patient goals and abilities.
  • Provide therapy to help patients regain motor skills, coordination, strength, and daily living skills.
  • Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle adjustments to support recovery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and documentation requirements.
Ideal Profile:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
  • Valid licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping others achieve independence.
  • Experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, pediatrics, geriatrics, or mental health is an advantage.
