Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Lab Technician to support our laboratory operations by preparing samples, conducting tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate data recording. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in routine laboratory work and ensuring that all procedures follow safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Sample Preparation & Testing

  • Collect, label, and process biological, chemical, or environmental samples.
  • Perform laboratory tests and analyses according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Record and analyze test results, identifying anomalies or deviations when applicable.

Equipment Handling & Maintenance

  • Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments such as centrifuges, microscopes, analyzers, and spectrophotometers.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and functioning correctly.
  • Report and assist with troubleshooting any malfunctions or maintenance issues.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Accurately record data and test results in logs or laboratory information systems (LIS).
  • Prepare reports and assist in interpreting results for physicians or researchers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow protocols for data handling and patient information.
