The Role:

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures. You will lead a team of data engineers and collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is accessible and usable across the organization.

  • Design and implement robust data pipelines for data ingestion and processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through monitoring and validation processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
Ideal Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background along with excellent leadership skills.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or Redshift.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
