Offset Printing Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Offset Printing Supervisor to manage and oversee daily production operations at our printing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth workflow from job planning to final output, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with cutting, printing, and binding teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule daily printing jobs as per production priorities
  • Calculate and provide correct paper sizes for cutting and printing
  • Prepare and manage job cards, production schedules, and machine allocations
  • Supervise offset printing operations to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Coordinate with pre-press, press, cutting, and binding departments
  • Monitor paper consumption, wastage, and machine efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and production specifications
  • Troubleshoot basic machine or production issues and escalate when required
  • Train and guide machine operators and helpers
  • Maintain production records and daily reports

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in offset printing operations
  • Strong knowledge of sheet-fed offset printing processes
  • Good understanding of paper sizes, cutting layouts, imposition, and wastage control
  • Experience in job scheduling and production planning
  • Ability to read and execute job cards accurately
  • Leadership and team-handling skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in book printing, notebooks, calendars, or packaging
  • Knowledge of binding and finishing processes
  • ITI / Diploma in Printing Technology (preferred but not mandatory)
