About Us

We are a fast-growing cosmetic manufacturing company specializing in high-quality skincare, haircare, and personal care products. We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Cosmetic Chemist to join our R&D team and help us create innovative, safe, and effective formulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and reformulate cosmetic and personal care products (skincare, haircare, bath & body, etc.).
  • Conduct stability, compatibility, and performance testing on new formulations.
  • Research new raw materials, evaluate suppliers, and maintain ingredient documentation.
  • Ensure formulations comply with regulatory standards (FDA/ISO/GMP).
  • Troubleshoot formulation issues and provide technical support during scale-up and production.
  • Maintain detailed formulation records, lab notebooks, and batch reports.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and marketing teams to bring new products to market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in cosmetic formulation (skincare/haircare preferred).
  • Strong understanding of emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, active ingredients, and rheology.
  • Experience with lab equipment such as homogenizers, viscometers, pH meters, etc.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Knowledge of fragrance chemistry.
  • Experience working in a GMP-certified facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹100,000.00 per month
