MultiFactor Authentication

The primary purpose of this position is to establish the Operations support on Vendor based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) service built and provide 24x7 operational supports. This includes the operations, maintenance and troubleshooting all components for the MFA infrastructure and dependencies. It will also provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA)

and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters. If you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative workplace.

Major Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and maintaining multifactor authentication services, applications

integrations and support activities related to development, enhancement need in the multifactor

authentication solutions

• Perform tasks related to installation and support of Tomcat applications/ Apache Web Instances

• Resolve/Respond on moderate to complex (P1, P2, and P3) incidents and problems effectively and in a timely manner

• Identify improvements in security operations procedures and participate in automation projects.

• Work with IT and business teams to develop solutions that address root cause.

• Support issues resolution related to MFA services, new user registration, authentication factor reset,unlock, VPN access, MFA authentication types, token management and reporting for tokens

• Provide break-fix support, patches, updates, troubleshooting, and Go-Live

• Support System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Production Rollout

• Perform all MFA administration and end users support responsibilities

• Troubleshooting Authentication manager connection failures

• Managing User logs and analysis of the logs

• Ready to do on-call duty support during weekends, holidays & out of office hours on rotational basis.

• Monitor information technology and security feeds to keep up with the latest trends and emerging threats.

• Work in shifts with efficient and accurate handover procedures.

• Adhere to SLAs based on the client agreements.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

Bachelor of Degree in Computer /BE

2 to 3 years of Tomcat applications/ Apache Web Instances experience or Citrix Administration (Level 2 and above).

Experience

Total 2 to 3 years of experience; min. 2 years experience in Linux with Tomcat/Apache web container administration or Citrix Virtual apps/desktop/ Citrix Administration (Level 2 and above)

Technical Skills Requirements

• Experience in handling ticketing systems like ServiceNow can be considered as an added advantage.

• Experience implementing/administration of MFA solution is advantage.

• Support and Administer Apache Web layer instances effectively, efficiently and independently.

• Hands-on knowledge on user administration (Citrix related issues) along with Infrastructure team to coordinate updates and patches.

• Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills of Citrix NetScaler (Access Gateway, Load Balancing) is

advantage

• Hands on experience on Linux flavors like redhat/Centos/Rocky Linux

• Proficient in granular level of monitoring and management skills in identifying potential issues

proactively and take actions accordingly.

• Experience in Support activities related to maintaining MFA On-Premise Server, Components, issues

related Application MFA, troubleshooting, break-fix etc.

• Overall understanding on Active Directory Federation Services and Active Directory infrastructure is

advantage

• Primary MFA Public Key Cryptography Secondary Digital Certificates cryptographic concepts is

additional advantage

• Understanding of Web Single Sign On technologies such as SAML and OAUTH also advantage

• Basic concepts of cryptographic concepts Eg. symmetric and asymmetric cryptography block stream

ciphers secure hash digital signatures Practical experience with data security and information security

including certificate enabled mitigations and applications such encryption at rest and in transit identity

and access management code signing integrity and signing Operational and software security

knowledge with hands on cloud security experience quote also advantage.

Functional/Domain Knowledge

Expert level knowledge:

• Webserver (Apache/Tomcat) or Citrix Administration.

• Apache Webservers and Reverse Proxy Mechanisms either good experience in Citrix environment.

• Experience in implementation and support of MFA related issues

• Basic understanding on network core services (DNS / DHCP / NTP)

• Designing and implementing Java-based applications

• Knowledge on SSL handshake methods and configurations

• Strong Knowledge on Unix / Linux platforms with ability to troubleshoot and perform system

installation

• Knowledge on scripting languages like Bash, Python

• knowledge in networking and Load Balancing Mechanisms

• Knowledge of ITIL Framework

Good-to-have:

• Experience with Monitoring tools like Nagios, Grafana etc.

• Security Fundamentals

• Good knowledge on Citrix clients like AVC/VDi clients

• LDAP(S) / HTTP(S) encryption basics

• Knowledge in DNS concepts

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM)

• VMware/V-Center Administration
