**Job Title:** Java Developer with AWS & Terraform

**Location:** - MUMBAI / BANGALORE

**Job Type:** - Contract

**Experience Level:** - 5+ years

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled **Java Developer** with strong experience in **AWS cloud services** and **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using **Terraform**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable backend services while also managing and automating cloud infrastructure to support modern applications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Java Development**

* Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using **Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.)**

* Participate in the full software development lifecycle (design, develop, test, deploy, maintain)

* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices

* Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers

* Integrate with third-party services and APIs

**AWS Cloud Engineering**

* Architect and build secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions using AWS services such as:

* EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS

* IAM, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, VPC, API Gateway

* Automate cloud infrastructure deployments using best practices

* Monitor and troubleshoot production environments hosted on AWS

**Terraform (IaC)**

* Define infrastructure using **Terraform** for AWS resources

* Manage and version cloud infrastructure through Git and CI/CD pipelines

* Create reusable and modular Terraform modules

* Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and governance through code


**Required Skills:**

* **Strong programming skills in Java (8/11/17)**

* **Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs**

* **Proficiency with AWS core services** (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)

* **Experience writing Terraform code** for AWS resource provisioning

* **Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines** (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline)

* **Knowledge of containerization** (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes)

* Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS DevOps Engineer)

* Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda)

* Exposure to microservices and distributed systems

**Soft Skills:**

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
