Role Overview:
The Sales Head will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives. This role requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record in the manufacturing industry, particularly in battery technology, and strong experience in driving sales and managing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1.    
Strategic Planning:
○ Develop and execute the B2B sales strategy in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
○ Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
2.    
Team Management:
○ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and professional growth.
○ Set performance metrics and KPIs for the sales team and monitor progress.
3.    
Sales Development:
○ Oversee the development and implementation of sales plans and initiatives to drive revenue growth.
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
4.    
Client Acquisition and Retention:
○ Identify and target new business opportunities and potential clients.
○ Develop strategies to retain and expand existing client relationships.
5.    
Revenue and Performance Management:
○ Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary.
○ Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to senior management.
6.    
Market Research:
○ Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
○ Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
7.    
Collaboration:
○ Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
○ Coordinate with other departments to address client needs and improve service delivery.
8.    
Negotiation and Contracts:
○ Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with key clients.
○ Oversee contract development and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
9.    
Sales Tools and Technology:
○ Leverage CRM and other sales tools to track sales activities, manage client interactions, and streamline processes.
○ Stay updated on sales technology trends and implement relevant tools to enhance sales performance.
Requirements:
1.    
Education:
○ Bachelor's degree in Electrical
○ MBA or advanced degree preferred.
2.    
Experience:
○ Extensive experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams.
○ Experience in a leadership role with responsibilities for developing and executing sales strategies.
3.    
Skills:
○ Strong leadership and team management skills.
○ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
○ Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
○ Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
○ Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
