We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Oracle Database Administrator (ADW) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of the database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain Oracle ADW databases to support business applications and data analytics.

- Monitor database performance, conduct tuning, and implement best practices to ensure high availability and scalability.

- Manage database backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.

- Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to define database requirements and optimize data models.

- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and migrations of Oracle databases.

- Implement security measures to safeguard database systems and data, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Conduct capacity planning to ensure adequate database resources for current and future needs.

- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for database management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with a focus on Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).

- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, features, and performance tuning.

- Experience with database backup and recovery tools and techniques.

- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.

- Familiarity with cloud-based database services, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
