Job Summary:
The Senior Pharmacist is responsible for supporting the pharmacy department in dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with medical regulations in day-to-day operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe and effective medication use for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review and interpret physician orders for appropriateness.
- Assist in compounding and labeling medications.
- Maintain inventory levels and check for expired medications.
- Provide drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies.
- Maintain records of all drug transactions and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines.
Experience :
Minimum 3-4 years in Hospital Pharmacy
