Job Summary:
We are seeking an all-round CAD Draftsman capable of handling multidisciplinary drawings including Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works — for our upcoming Cell and Module Manufacturing Plant. The candidate should possess a sound understanding of construction layouts, industrial design practices, and be capable of managing drawing updates, corrections, and coordination across various disciplines.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, responsive, and able to independently identify, highlight, and implement drawing corrections or updates with accuracy and speed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, modify, and update 2D drawings and layouts for Civil, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
- Review and cross-check consultant and vendor drawings for consistency, coordination, and technical accuracy.
- Identify any drawing discrepancies, missing information, or coordination issues across disciplines.
- Highlight and communicate required corrections or improvements proactively.
- Implement drawing corrections and updates promptly, ensuring minimal turnaround time.
- Maintain a systematic drawing register and revision control in coordination with the design team.
- Support design engineers and consultants by providing accurate as-built drawings, equipment layouts, and coordination drawings.
- Understand and interpret construction drawings, tender drawings, and GFC (Good for Construction) documents.
- Coordinate with site and project teams to ensure drawings reflect actual construction and equipment requirements.
- Assist in preparing shop drawings and detail drawings as required for execution.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to project standards, layering conventions, and title block formats.
- Support the BIM or design coordination team when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / ITI in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of experience in CAD drafting across Civil, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
- industrial projectsindustrial projects, preferably cell or module manufacturing, semiconductor, or cleanroom facilities, will be a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, or SolidWorks will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, layouts, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate drawings under tight timelines.
- Self-driven, responsive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
