Job Description – CFD Engineer (0–1 Year Experience)

Position: CFD Engineer (Siemens Star-CCM+)

Experience: 0–1 Year

Location: Bangalore (initial 1 month training & induction at Pune)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support CFD simulations using Siemens Star-CCM+ for industrial and R&D applications.
  • Perform pre-processing (geometry cleanup, meshing), solver setup, and post-processing.
  • Assist in validating CFD models with experimental/benchmark data.
  • Work under the guidance of senior engineers for project delivery and customer engagements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide customer training and handholding support.
  • Participate in customer site visits as required.
  • Conduct technical enablement sessions for sales and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of CFD principles: fluid flow, heat transfer, and turbulence modeling.
  • Familiarity with meshing concepts and simulation workflows (Star-CCM+ preferred).
  • Sound fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and numerical methods.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python/Java/Matlab) is an added advantage.
  • CAD modeling knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • M.Tech (preferred) in Thermal, Fluid, Aerospace, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.

Other Details:

  • Initial training & induction will be conducted in Pune for 1 month, after which the candidate will be located in Bangalore.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of CFD experience are eligible.
