About Position:

We are seeking a skilled VBA Developer to support the migration of automation solutions from Google Apps Script to Excel Macros (VBA). The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing Google Workspace-based automation and replicate or enhance the functionality using Microsoft Excel and VBA.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze existing Google Apps Script-based solutions and workflows.
  • Design and develop equivalent or improved automation using Excel VBA.
  • Ensure seamless data integration and functionality between Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Optimize VBA code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after migration.
  • Document processes, code, and user guides for the migrated solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate outcomes.

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Strong proficiency in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Apps Script (JavaScript-based).
  • Solid understanding of Excel functions, formulas, and data structures.
  • Experience with API integration and data migration between platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
