Role & responsibilities

  • Work with peers and business partners to understand, build and adjust tools and application functionality to support business goals.
  • Architect front-end framework for both web as well as mobile application to solve complex designs and interactions.
  • Participate in scoping and planning work.
  • Work closely with product managers, UX designers and back-end engineers to implement front-end solutions.
  • Design, implement and unit test front-end application code for proprietary/licensable software products.
  • Actively participate in design and code reviews to build robust application and prototypes.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use, focus on long term code maintainability.
  • Develop and execute solutions to optimize functionality, design focusing on properties including user interface, contextual navigation, architecture, and interaction design.
  • Explore and design simple and intuitive consumer experiences.
  • Collaborate on the development and maintenance of standards for front end development.
  • Keep up to date on emerging trends, technologies, and market developments.
