Urologist – Job Description

Position: Urologist

Department: Urology

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat diseases of the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
• Perform urological surgeries such as TURP, PCNL, URS, cystoscopy, and stone removal.
• Manage OPD, IPD, and emergency urology cases.
• Interpret diagnostic tests (ultrasound, CT, MRI, lab reports).
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Guide junior doctors, nurses, and technicians in urology care.
• Participate in clinical audits, CME, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• MBBS + MS/DNB (General Surgery) + MCh/DNB (Urology).
• Valid medical council registration.
• Strong surgical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-care abilities.
• Ability to handle emergencies and work in a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300, ₹400,000.00 per month
